Eagle Board of Review Volunteers

Crosswinds District conducts Eagle Boards of Review Monthly. Each month the District sends out a request for volunteers to sit on Eagle Boards.   It is important for Troop 212 to provide at least 1 volunteer each month.  Since Crosswinds holds their Eagle boards on Wednesday nights (which is our Troop meeting night) we are counting on non-uniformed Troop adults to assist.  Please insure that you will be able to complete your commitment before volunteering since they will be counting on you.

Adult volunteers should:
1. Notify the District Board of your plans to attend each month, email notification is
preferred; include          name and unit. <mail:  debor@rtpnet.org>
2. Review these Board Review notes BEFORE coming:

3. Arrive promptly at 6:55pm
4. Dress in Scout or business attire

In your reply, please let them know what Unit number you are currently registered or what unit your scout is in, so that they do not assign you to review a Scout related to your current Scouting unit.
These adults need not be Eagle Scouts, and do not need to have experience with the District Board of Review process. They will train you to fulfill the needs of this board.  You also do not need to be registered members of the Boy Scouts of America.

However, they should be knowledgeable about the Scouting program and must understand the importance and purpose of the District Eagle Board of Review.

The Scout Leader currently in charge of Eagle Boards is Gantt Edmiston.
